Dr. Patrick Judson “Jud” Blatchford
Jud’s professional interests include areas such as statistics, programming, clinical trial design, and teaching. Teaching courses for SAS has been a dream addition to his professional work.
Since completing his PhD in biostatistics in 2007, he has worked collaboratively as a consulting biostatistician with many investigators on a wide range of clinical trials and research studies. His areas of expertise include the design and analysis of clinical trials, and he has devoted a significant portion of his effort to serving as the study biostatistician on a variety of clinical trials in areas such as cancer, aging populations, and palliative care.
Another area of expertise is programming using SAS software. He is certified in several areas as a SAS programmer, including the macro language. He teaches programming courses for SAS Institute Inc. and previously taught graduate-level programming at the University of Colorado.
